For Wisconsinites under 65
Health insurance that fits your family and budget.
Whether you're shopping the Marketplace, leaving an employer plan, or between jobs, we'll walk you through every option and find coverage that actually works for you.

What we offer
We're independent — that means we compare plans across carriers, not just one.
Marketplace (ACA) Plans
On-exchange plans with potential subsidies based on household income — including Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Catastrophic levels.
Individual & Family Plans
Off-exchange options for those who don't qualify for subsidies or want broader carrier networks.
Short-Term Medical
Temporary coverage between jobs, after a move, or while waiting for other coverage to begin.
Dental, Vision & Supplemental
Standalone dental and vision plans, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage.
When can I enroll?
Open Enrollment for ACA Marketplace plans typically runs November 1 through January 15 in Wisconsin. You may also qualify for a Special Enrollment Period if you've had a recent life event such as:
- Loss of other coverage
- Marriage or divorce
- New baby or adoption
- Move to a new ZIP code
- Change in income
- Aging off a parent's plan
Health insurance in Wisconsin, made a little easier
Shopping for health insurance can feel like one more thing on a stack of things — and the timing usually isn't great. Maybe you just left a job, your spouse's plan ended, or you're staring down a renewal notice that doesn't quite add up. Whatever brought you here, we're glad you came. We'll help you sort through the options without rushing you, and we'll never charge you a dime for the help.
Wisconsin uses the federal Marketplace at HealthCare.gov for ACA plans. The good news is that most families qualify for an Advance Premium Tax Credit that lowers the monthly premium, and many also qualify for Cost-Sharing Reductions on Silver plans that bring down deductibles and copays. We'll quietly run the numbers for your household so you can see exactly what you'd pay — before you commit to anything.
Wisconsin hasn't expanded Medicaid the way some states have, so if your income is just above the BadgerCare Plus cutoff, you might worry you've fallen into a gap. In most cases, a heavily subsidized Marketplace plan is actually your best path forward — and we'll help you find it.
We work with the carriers most Wisconsin families know: Quartz, Dean Health Plan, Network Health, Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative, Children's Community Health Plan, Aspirus, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare. What's available in Milwaukee County looks different than what's in Waukesha, Dane, Brown, or Outagamie — so we always check what's actually in your ZIP code before recommending anything.
Whether you're a young family, self-employed, between jobs, an early retiree bridging to Medicare at 65, or a parent keeping an adult child on the family plan until they turn 26 — we'll meet you where you are.
Questions we hear all the time
"How much will an ACA Marketplace plan cost me?"
It depends on your age, household size, income, ZIP code, and whether you use tobacco — but with the tax credits, many Wisconsin families end up paying $0 to $150 a month for a Silver plan. We'll get you a real number, not a guess, before you decide anything.
"I missed Open Enrollment — am I out of luck?"
Not at all. A lot of life events — losing job coverage, moving, getting married, having a baby, or a change in income — open a Special Enrollment Period for you. You typically have 60 days, and we'll help you act quickly.
"Will I still be able to see my doctor?"
That's one of the first things we check. Before you enroll, we'll look up your doctors, specialists, and preferred hospitals — Aurora, Ascension, Froedtert, ProHealth, SSM Health, Marshfield Clinic, Bellin, ThedaCare, and others — in each plan's network so there are no surprises.
"Can you help with dental and vision too?"
Absolutely. We can add standalone dental and vision plans, and supplemental coverage like accident, critical illness, or hospital indemnity to fill any gaps your main plan leaves behind.
